(Opinion) Kali support seems to be lacking

I get that Kali is more focused towards "advanced" users, but even the advanced users need help because something new, broke many things that were working.

Says who?

take for instance how Ubuntu 22.04 has kernel support for Nvidia 340.108 but Kali 2022.04 does not.

Kali 2022.2 is the current version.

The reason why Ubuntu is used by more people than any other distro... SUPPORT.

Oh, I thought it was because they were inept at using the command line.

The mantra of "nobody is using that device anymore anyway" is certainly not the "Way of the Linux" from my viewpoint. Linux is supposed to "resurrect old devices" with SUPPORT.

See the screenshot here of my Win7 era Lenovo Thinkpad T61running Kali 2022.2 or my IBM Thinkpad T43 running same in other forums.

Seriously. I'm not trying to start a fire here, but if Kali want's to become a serious option for people, the developers behind it, need to establish a strong foundation! with SUPPORT.
