Wouldn't it be great it USB WiFi adapters worked out of the box with Android? Smartphones I believe are as close as we are going to get to cybersecurity inspired tricorders. Long battery life and portability are two good reasons to investigate this further. Just imagine Kali running nmap, tcpdump, wireshark on your phone.

Here is a developer who was able to get some USB WiFi adapters working with Galaxy Note 2.

He also developed native android airodump and airmon apps that doesn't require chrooted Kali or Backtrack to run.

The Kali image for the Note 10.1 boots natively, and should detect the external USB WiFi.

current issue with databases in metasploit. some kind of shared memory issue when trying to build a database, it happens with a nexus 7, pretty sure it would happen with a note 2, not so sure about the note 10.1 native boot. anyone wanna try to build a database and confirm fail or success? might be fixable at kernel level? not sure gotta look into it further, input appreciatted.

This is not bug. Postgresql wont install in a Linux Deploy chroot without first
whitelisting it in update-rc.d.

I never did figure out how to whitelist postgresql. Charonsecurity tried to help with updating update-rc.d. Muts never bothered to explain how to actually do to it. There's very little documentation on the internet on whitelisting in postgresql and none related to Kali in an ARM environment of course.

Metasploit seems to be borked for ARM. I have it installed in Rasp Pi, SS808 and Galaxy Note 2 (via linux deploy). The only way this is going to be fixed is enough people bring it up and most likely in a future version of Kali for ARM.
