Hello everyone. New to the forums and kali in general.
Is there a difference between kali5 and kali6? Woke up this morning with my comp not being able to find my sata drive. Did nothing different last night. Tinkered around a little bit and I loaded up kali5 from the menu instead of kali6 and everything went back to normal. Is kali6 a new release that's not quite ready yet? Or do I need to load it properly? Wondering if I did something incorrectly or maybe an update didn't happen properly. I tried googling around and found absolutely nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Hi. You are probably talking about kernel 6.x vs. the older 5.x kernel?
