hi,
i have installed Nagios 4.4.9 on Kali. it's OK

because i want to automatically buid hosts.cfg in Nagios i need to be alerted on my Nagios Server that a new machine has just connected on the network Lan

so, what happens when a new machine is connecting to the lan? did it send automatically a ICMP packet or any else?
