Installing Kali linux 2022.4 on HP elitebook

To get this question answered once and for all.

Which boot mode in UEFI should I choose? UEFI Hybrid (with CSM) OR UEFI Native (without CSM)

I think HP is the only PC you get this option.

Single boot and iso from the latest installer images.

Had to much problem with installation so far.. So this time it must be right all the way.

UEFI with CSM

CSM is a legacy boot option, without CSM you get UEFI secure boot which will fail with Kali

I managed to install Kali by using UEFI with CSM. Bootable USB created with Rufus as it's explained here

Without CSM, installation freeze

I changed Bios to get grub menu after the installation. Otherwise the laptop always boot windows

So I changed the Customized boot to add. Enter this path for the EFI file
\EFI\kali\grubx64.efi

Finally, I changed the UEFI boot order to set the Customized boot the first one so, now the laptop shows the grub menu and it can be booted in both OS.
