Hi,

I've installed Kali on a notebook with built in SIM slot with 4G (LTE). I've tried to setup APN connection and no matter what combination of settings I try it always fails. So I wanted to troubleshoot and check logs but I can't find log files for it. However, Kali does recognize the SIM card as it asked for PIN after reboot once I entered the SIM card.

Any idea where those log files might be? I researched and all I found were general log files like /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog. But none of them exists at all. I also don't see any useful folder names within /var/logs folder.

Thanks ans regards

APN details can be found on your SIM suppliers website, you need the full details, not just the name of the APN but its connection details too.

You didn't say where your from, or which network your on, so I can't be specific, but, this is an example of the kind of details you will need;
