Hello Guys

i am trying to test out Kali tonight and I am having a bit of hard time getting to run. If do live Cd I get an error. I am running an old laptop dell 6400 inspiron win home 32 bit 1 gb of RAM.

Message : /bin/sh:can't access tty:; job turn off.

I could really use a quick hand on setting this up. Its the only free night I get a week.

I would recommend you give us more details on what you are trying to do, the thread title states that you are trying to install Kali on a Virtual Machine however you do not mention any software, any kali version, or any other details.

I am currently using vmware.
Edit: kali-linux-1.0.2-i386.iso

Have you tried downloading the VMware version of Kali ? Does the same behaviour occur ?
