What about launching the network manager by typing "NetworkManager" only in the terminal (be carefull with the caps!)?

Have you ever thought about installing it all to an live-usb stick like I did? (just as a sidenote :))

If you want to know: 2 partitions: 3.5GB FAT32 and XGB ext3 called "persistence". You need to format as MBR not as GUID-PT (Options in DiskUtily). Keep in mind that ext3 formatting only works with a linux system running :D
Use UNetBootIn to copy the files to fat32. I discovered that UNetBootIn only worked on Windows. Your system is now bootable for windows machines.

Follow http://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?271-How-to-EFI-install-Kali-Linux this guide, but however download all files (except the fonts dir).
Pressing ALT (Option) while booting should now show: EFI-Boot :)
