Hello
I wanted to install the drivers for my ATI graphics card then came this message

one or more tools required for installation cannot be found on the system.
Install the required tools before installing the fglrx driver.Optionally, run the installer with --force option to install without the tools.
Forcing install will disable AMD hardware acceleration and may make your system unstable. Not recommended. See /urs/share/ati/fglrx-install.log for more deatails

I have tihs driver downloaden http://support.amd.com/de/gpudownload/linux/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx

My System:
HP-notebook-655
OS:Kali-Linux 1.0 Amd64

Thanks

My friend i have the same probleme if you have installed linux-sources and linux-headers and essential tools thenm you are in the same position with that installer cant find the version.h in sources if you havent done this try to install them and try again
btw i am stack at the no version.h problem if you could give some more infos from ati.log file it would be better.
PS Does anyone know how to add version.h on 3.7.2 amd64 or sould i try to upgrade to 3.8 linux-kernel?
