I have a script that i normally run, which just basically does apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade. Apparently, some linux kernel headers were upgraded and now I am unable to use the features of VMware Tools. For example, I can no longer copy/paste or anything else (i.e., shared folders, drag/drop, etc).

I went back to the Kali FAQ and decided to try reinstalling VMware tools using the guide, but I am getting an error toward the end of the VMware installation. Screenshot located here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2526790/VMware%20issue.png.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? Seems like updating kernel headers pretty much always damages this.

Thanks.
