So continuing from my title, I chose the ethernet connection. That's working just fine and dandy. But my built in pcie wifi card isn't seen at all. On boot, when everything is loading it tells me wlan0 is ignored. Onboard wifi is this - wifi - rtl8192ce

It's a Toshiba Netbook

Went to the realtek site and got the proper drivers setup for both my eth0 and my wlan0 connections.

~# ifup wlan0
Ignoring unknown interface wlan0=wlan0.

My etc/network/interfaces is this.

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

Network Manager conf looks like this

[main]
plugins=ifupdown,keyfile

[ifupdown]
managed=true

Still looking for other options, but would be handy to have wifi if I forget to bring my external alfa awus036h when I'm out & about.

Any other info/thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No clue as to what I did... But they're both working just fine now... Well as of last night I should say. Computers, gotta love em.
