Hi all!

Don't know why my previous question doesn't show up on the forum. Maybe because it was a "newbie" question. Anyway, that was about why only a partition of 4.6Gb is created on my 32Gb SD card. Now i found out how to resize the partition however on running the resize2fs command i get:

root@kali:~# resize2fs /dev/mmcblk0p2
resize2fs 1.42.5 (29-Jul-2012)
Filesystem at /dev/mmcblk0p2 is mounted on /; on-line resizing required
old_desc_blocks = 1, new_desc_blocks = 2
resize2fs: Permission denied to resize filesystem

Any ideas?

Ton.

What I may recommend is put the microsd in an SD adapter (should have come with one) and then place that in a Kali system and try the resize command.

Also, a simpler way would be to do the same with the SD card and use gparted to resize it. (GUI)

It's pretty quick and painless...

Best Regards,
Eric
