View Full Version : Unable to boot kali linux (1.0.5) on Lenovo Z585

can't boot (neither usb or dvd) kali 1.0.5 64bit on on lenovo z585 (amd64, AMD RADEON HD 7520G)
i also check md5 and iso isn't corrupt

possible this is bug related to lenovo because other people also have similar problem:

i had a similar issue on my lenovo z570 ,here's how i solved the problem , if you are able to boot from usb then you don't need to update your bios but you can update it to be sure , then probably you are using the "unetbootin" tool to make the bootable usb , it doesnt work with kali , to be able to make a bootable kali usb , use Win32 Disk Imager , you can get it from here (http://bit.ly/17Mw5Nx) , its a sourceforge link don't panic , hope this helps
