Kalli isntall freezes on beaglebone black when trying do a complete package install

I have the 1.0.6 image

it only comes with the extreme basics.

So i ran: apt-get install kali-linux -yq

Every went well for about 6 hours until it got to this step: "linking and compiling packages for python-runtime 2.6"

Then it freezes.
any idea?
I tried restarting it multiple times still no luck

ok so i was using the 1.0.6 image before not i am using the 1.0.5 image for the bbb only problem is i do not have the iw command or sysfs interface kernel.
i tried downloading it using the link provided but it said it failed to download..any suggestions?

I will see if I can replicate the issue here on my beaglebone black, but I won't be able to get to that until Saturday (01 Mar 2014) but will post here when I have an update.
