View Full Version : How to create an iso with current system configuration?
I am using kali amd64,succeded on creating binary.hybrid.iso ,but i want the iso to include all programms(chromium,audacity....) with current settings,and also system & gnome settings,how to add those packages and those settings from my system? please help.
improvising instruction from the documentation (http://docs.kali.org/installation/kali-linux-live-usb-install)
dd if=<X> of=<Y> bs=<Z>
X= your mounted kali ie: /dev/sdb
Y= new partition ie: /dev/sdc
Z= block sector ie: 512k
you also may have UEFI boot enabled if so look here (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2417361,00.asp)

install rfracta-snapshot and refracta-installer then backup your whole system inculding all drivers. softwares even configuration, just like remastersys.
download files from here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/refracta/files/tools/
