Hi all
I'm trying to connect my WD external USB drive to my kali installation installed on VM fusion 6. I used the drive to take a disk image using dc3dd of a windows 7 machine. I booted kali as a live distro and it saw the HDD with no worries and put the disk image on it but kali on the virtual machine can't see it all. The VM software pops up with the usual question of would you like to connect this device to linux and I click yes but still no joy! :(
Anyone got any advice?
