Have anyone had success using the camera module/board with Kali on RPi?
...and may I ask how you did it?
Thank you!
On Raspberry Pi 2 Model B I installed Kali Linux 1.1.0 (see this, best post to quick start http://gfragkos.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/raspberry-pi-2-model-b-and-kali-linux.html)
However, I am having the same issue. Managed to install raspi-config and update the firmware (it was necessary).
When I choose to enable the camera through the raspi-config, I get the error:
"There was an error running option 5 Enable Camera"
There is no more info anywhere and I am stuck. any ideas welcome.
also, anyone knows how to install all raspicam files from github? (https://github.com/raspberrypi/userland/tree/master/host_applications/linux/apps/raspicam)
will they work under Kali? Maybe there are libraries there which are needed for the camera to work?
Thank you.

I would also like to add camera support to the new Kali 1.1.0 Raspberry Pi 2 image. Has anyone gotten it working? I'm not seeing it in Goggle anywhere.
Thanks
