I 'm trying to install driver for my nVidia GeForce 6150SE in Kali Linux.
So far, I 've totally failed.
I 've tried to install the driver for series 6 which I had downloaded from nVidia site.
At one point during the installation I had to exit X.I tried that, I messed everything up, I reinstalled Kali.
Then I tried with apt-get, I also had to exit x, anyway I failed again.
Now I 'm trying with Synaptic of Kali (Add/Remove programs).
I 've installed NVIDIA binary OpenGL libraries (173xx legacy version) but when I NVIDIA X Server Settings shows up the message:"You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run 'nvidia-xconfig' as root), and restart the X server".When I run 'nvidia-xconfig' it returns me the message:"command not found".
Well, which is the correct driver for my card?
