Hi there!

Just installed nethunter on nexus7 2013, and all looks fine. External usb wifi adapters works well, but when I unplugging it, all the system totally freezes for a ~5 seconds, then rebooting. Is any one met the familiar troubles? And is it possible some how "safely" unplug the dongles or fix it?
Tested with AWUS036H (RTL8187L) and TL-WN722n (AR9271).

HI,

In order for the tablet not to freeze and reboot before you unplug the Wifi dongles, close all the processes that are using the wifi (e.g airodump, aireplay and so on) and issue "ifconfig wlanX down"

It worked for me ;)

I am running 4.4.4 + NH on an N7 2013 (LTE). I have ran into this issue and was testing the workaround. So far, unfortunately, it does not appear to work in my case, steps:

1. Plug in TL-WN722n
2. ifconfig wlan1 up
3. airmon-ng start wlan1 (at this point I've got mon0)
4. Use airodump or whatever else is desirable...
5. Close whatever is used in step #4.
6. airmon-ng stop mon0
7. ifconfig wlan1 down
8. Wait or not (tried 0 / 5 /10 / 30 secs)
9. Unplug... kaboom!

Any help / pointers greatly appreciated!

Yep, saw that one too - some members there also report the said workaround not being effective for them though...
