Back slash replaced with hash

I noticed when using the hid keyboard attack windows cmd. That backslashes are replaced with a hash on the windows box. don't seem to be able to change this or find a backslash. I've tried the hacker keyboard and normal android. Both seem to be the same. Advice much appreciated.

Upadate. Using / instead of \ solved

Hid still outputting US keystrokes any idea how to change?
