Hey,

I know know if I just have not had enough coffee and/or beer today but I can't seem to SSH into my NetHunter install.
I enable the SSH Server via the web-gui and also tried changing the root password and creating a standard user via the Kali Shell ontion on the phone.
Also checked the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file and all looks ok.

My I doing something wrong or is it due to NetHunter running via chroot?

I have the same issue. I try to login to nethunter with putty from a WIN7 machine
I put the user root and enter the password. I get access denied eveytime
I even change the password for root on my Nethunter, same access denied thing

Mircer, it's because of a few slight changes in the sshd config (/etc/ssh/sshd_config) in kali2 vs kali1. https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux/top-10-post-install-tips/
Offsec explains it and the fix in there
