When building Nethunter for the Nexus 5 I see there are two kernels supported, ASOP, and CM. Is there a preference for one over the other, are there any differences that are worth considering when deciding which one to build and install?

Hi boober 95, I was building by nethunter by using the windows installation tool. It goes automatically and I didn't see there is any part about selection of kernels. Also I can not find the ASOP and CM information at the offsec website. Could you plz show me where did you find that?

It depends on you ROM is it ASOP or CM based?

Hey boober95, In the build menu, there is no particular kernel recommended over another, but make sure AOSP kernel goes with an AOSP ROM, and CM kernel goes with a cyanogenmod ROM. I personally just prefer AOSP OSs.

Ran a quick test of your Kernel with PSX ROM test build for Nexus 5.
Does anyone have any idea ?
