What To do after Fresh Install????

i have followed a lot of tutorials over the past few weeks and many times i have broken kali linux i have a full installtion to hard disk and am wondring where to go from here if somone could point me in the right direction.

my problems always acured when messing with the sources.list as followed in toutorials

any help or advice would be much appreciated!!!

Unfortunately many websites provide "kali tutorials" which will break your Kali installation, like cyberpedia.in/adding-repository-in-kali-linux/
Your best bet is to go to the official documentation, at http://docs.kali.org and stick to official texts until you feel comfortable enough to explore Kali unaided.

thank you so much for your reply i have stuck with the official documentation and everything is going great and as you ponited i will explore at bit more when i am abit more familer with the repositorys
