Bluetooth sniffing

recently been looking into bluetooth sniffing and was wondering if i could use tools like bt-uap-search.rb, crackle and ubertooth. would not work because of the bluetooth adapter if so would it work if i got a ubertooh and connected that to my nexus?

Hi all,
Ubertooth is included in the tools in the the metapackage Wireless tools on the web page.
However, I cannot see it among the applications in Kali. Am I missing something or do I need to install Ubertooth One myself.
Anyone who knows_
