I was wondering if this is even possible?

I have a Lenovo Yoga 13 i7 with windows 8 64bit pro

I have looked at these articles so far.

http://docs.kali.org/installation/dual-boot-kali-with-windows

http://docs.kali.org/installation/kali-linux-live-usb-install

I'm not assuming this will work the same as it does for a windows 7 machine.

The questions I'm left with right now are.

What iso build of kali would I want to make a live usb of?

Also besides backing everything up, setting BIOS to to boot off of a USB, creating a live USB of kali, and repartitioning the hard drive to allow space for kali install. Are there any other procedures or precautions to consider?

I have not been able to find any information specifically relating to dual booting kali alongside windows 8 any other resources or insight would be greatly appreciated.

In the end, it all comes down to 2 facts:
1. UEFI-GPT or Bios-MBR.
2. Partitions.

No matter if you have win8, 7, XP/2000, Debian, Ubuntu, etc..It's all about partitions.

Luck.
