For what it's worth, I have a terrible Internet connection (0.8 Mbps download speed) and was pulling my hair out trying to download the Kali iso, using the default downloader under Google Chrome. The download would always fail, for reasons ungiven. I finally got a good image by using the FlashGet3 downloader (on XP). First try. It took 6-1/2 hours, but I got it, and it checksums and works.
