Sound Not working. Kali- Dell Inspiron N7110 [Archive]

Hello,
Just installed Kali and I love it!! Fantastic job.
The only glitch I have is that my sound will not work at all.

(syntax used: lspci -vv -m -k)

Any ideas on a fix? (have googled it to pieces)

It's possible its just muted, ( I had this issue at first) do you have the sound mixer installed? So that you can adjust the volume controls. In KDE I had to install kmix, not sure what the gnome equivalent is.

Charonsecurity....Thank you for the reply. Complete ignorance on my part. Looked at the sound controls yesterday and never noticed that "input" volume was all the way down. :o
