Its just stuck there? I would try reflashing if you haven't already.

It's possible that your device isn't unlocked. Maybe a "fastboot oem unlock" might solve the issue. There are a lot of tools that can unlock your device if you are unfamiliar with the process (google wugfresh).

I have the same issue, tried installing
Nexus 10 Lollipop - 1.0G - 1.21 - bb87caa5e12cb1dc35275b6de9d01e0257096956 https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-nethunter-download/
Went through all the steps from https://www.kali.org/offsec-nethunter-installer/Kali_v1.1.6.sfx.exe (http://www.nethunter.com/download/)
Figured maybe I had to root it before, so I did root with http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/ (as recommended in http://www.nethunter.com/prepare/). Before rooting, it asked if the device was unlocked. I thought so, but even then, I did unlock it one more time. Followed all the steps, finished, closed.
Back to "C:\Program Files (x86)\NetHunter_Installer\KaliNetHunter_Installer. exe", jumped to prelast step, which is to flash stock, done, did last step to push Kali and root the device. it restarted the device after pushing kali, I saw it said it would take 30 min and was extracting a .zip, confirmed it as http://images.kali.org/kali_linux_nethunter_1.21_mantaray_lollipop.zip but got back to the frozen google screen with padlock.
POWER+VOLUMEUP+VOLUMEDOWN, recovery, unlock TWRD, Install, found kali_linux_nethunter_1.21_mantaray_lollipop.zip at Downloads folder, flashed, saw the same screen saying it would take 30 min and extracting zip. Finished, this time it didnt reboot automatically. I unlocked it and pressed the Reboot button. Again I see the white google logo with padlock.

Has this image been tested? Maybe it wasn't tested on a fresh device. Also, should I have opened BusyBox to install it? Busybox said it was already installed with a different version (It looks like busybox is installed but it does not appear to be the version that you selected to have installed, you may want to try the installation again but using a different installation location.". I opened SuperSU and it seemed ok, it said I had super user permissions or something.

It didn't work, I'm suspecting kali_linux_nethunter_1.21_mantaray_lollipop.zip isn't functional. I'm back to stock until anyone gives a new idea! :)

Hi,
I've a working Nexus 9 with nethunter.
What I did:
- if possible connect your nexus to upgrade to lollipop ;
- install https://www.kali.org/offsec-nethunter-installer/Kali_v1.2.5.sfx.exe ; it will download all necessary file ;
- test your drivers (option of Kali_v1.2.5.sfx.exe) to be sure your device will be connected in lollipop and fastboot as well ;
- this test will assure you'r chroot and SuperSU compatible ;
- follow directives from the installer regarding "developper mode" and USB debug capabilities
- install ;) and enjoy.
- do not forget post install stuff with busybox (explained by the installation program).

This windows installer is a major improvement in comparaison with the early versions ;)

Nexus 9 , Android 5.0.1 , kernel 3.10.40-g6f3881e-dirty , build LRX22C

Hello... thanks for the reply, but we already did all that, is on the howto preparation of the website... i try from linux and from windows using the tool and doing it manually.
i'm not new to flashing roms in android phones/devices so i think is a nexus 10 issue.. im sure it works fine on all the other nexus... but unless someone with a nexus 10 post
how did they installed and whatever trick i will think the nethunter image for nexus 10 lolipop has issues. :/

I unfortunately just bought a Nexus 10 purely for the purpose of installing Nethunter. I have tried countless times to install the lollipop edition for the Nexus 10, only to result in the Google bootscreen with the unlocked icon which hangs forever and eventually reboots, to repeat itself in a bootloop. I had some success when I tried flashing the following prior to the kali nethunter zip:
5.0 (LRX21P) Link c9657359fe92126ffc2cb3a967c3b57a ad2499eabb2b5dd9aae90df92070a0c29769ef19
5.0.1 (LRX22C) Link cb9a94a45dd05d3b52c563fa763129b7 1a7ae5d101fa481896171f41d67c60bc7198d61e
5.0.2 (LRX22G) Link d054d9eb810e1700bebf2fb24014b3df 81af84cb10710f9c2fbc6a2de9dd14bec600e63d
Then I wouldn't get the Google bootloop issue, but when I actually tried to use Nethunter it would say there was a syntax error: 'if unmatched' and I couldn't successfully use Nethunter. Oh no, I thought! I just bought this device, voided the warranty, and am left without the features I desired. Then I thought, "Well, I might as well give the Kit-Kat version of Nethunter a try." Bingo! It works. There was only one issue after that which was that when I selected, "Update Kali chroot" from the Kali Launcher (this is all in my working KitKat version mind you), I was faced with an error that metasploit couldn't start... yada yada (the postgrsql service needs to start prior to it). So, I was able to go into a terminal and issue bootkali then from the root@kali:~# I issued service postgrsql start and then apt-get -f install / poke my way back to the launcher and select "Update Kali chroot" and all updated successfully. I am really itching for the lollipop distro of Nethunter to be fixed for the Nexus 10, but I will wait for further confirmation of this through the forums because I would at least like to be able to use my new tablet rather than flashing it a thousand times a day leaving me in a frustrated state with a wasted day. Anyhow, I much appreciate all those who have contributed to this project and am confident in it's eventual success. Cheers!

Hi,
I've recompiled the Nexus 10 Optipop kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2778248) included with the Optipop 5.1.1 rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-10/development/rom-optipop-f2fs-ubertc-4-9-3-t3086601) using the build instructions (https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/wiki/Porting-Nethunter) from github.

The result is Nethunter working Nexus 10 Lollipop.

I've outlined two options. Option 1 is tested and working, option 2 may or may not work.

Option 1:
To flash Optipop Rom + Gapps + Nethunter + recompiled kernel:

Requirements:
Get the rom + gapps + nethunter 1.1.2 lollipop + kernel + twrp 2.8.4.0:

Optipop Rom: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9kxrJw-dzUmLW4yaUhhNlJNMkU&authuser=0
Gapps: http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=banks&device=gapps
Nethunter: http://images.kali.org/kali_linux_nethunter_1.21_mantaray_lollipop.zip
Recompiled kernel and working TWRP recovery: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2059765/manta-nethunter-kernel.rar
Supersu 2.46: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip

I had problems flashing the rom correct with version 2.8.6.0 of TWRP, that is why I've included 2.8.4.0

The long instructions:
Nexus 10 must be unlocked as described in the Nethunter guide.

Boot Nexus 10 in bootloader mode (power + both volume keys)

Unpack manta-nethunter-kernel.rar to a temp directory with the rom + gapps + supersu.

Flash TWRP 2.8.4.0 from command prompt: fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.4.0-manta.img

Reboot Nexus 10 in recovery mode.

Wipe your Nexus 10: (Wipe + Swipe to Factory reset)

Sideload/flash rom:
Begin ADB sideloading in recovery: Advanced + ADB Sideload+ Swipe

Sideload the rom from command prompt: adb sideload optipop_manta-ota-2015-04-27.zip

Flash gapps: (advance + adb sideload then adb sideload gapps-L-5-1-15.zip
Flash supersu: (advance + adb sideload then adb sideload UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip

Reboot the Nexus 10 and finish the installation process.

When the installation is finished reboot in recovery mode.

Flash Nethunter (advance + adb sideload then adb sideload kali_linux_nethunter_1.21_mantaray_lollipop.zip)

This will take a while but be patient.

Reboot the Nexus 10 to bootloader (Reboot +Bootloader )

Flash recompiled kernel: fastboot flash boot boot.img

Reboot.. you now have Nethunter

Option 2: (not tested)
Download and unpack recompiled kernel: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2059765/manta-nethunter-kernel.rar

Do the Windows Nethunter installation.

When the Nexus 10 fails to load after the Nethunter flash press and hold power + both volume keys to enter bootloader.

Then flash recompiled kernel from command prompt fastboot flash boot boot.img

Reboot

The problem occurred because the changes I made were not pushed to the repo after the image is built. Hopefully we can get an update out soon to fix the issue but the error is related to the kernel not flashing with all the updates.

It's possible that @MartiniGM's kernel can be flashed over the nethunter install to fix the issue but I haven't tested it. I apologize for not noticing the changes not being pushed before the build but I hope we can resolve it soon.

tested!!! It works!!!

Awesome!! I'm going to wait until the fix it on the main line... I'm tired of flashing my nexus 10 then having to re-install all my apps... I want to make sure I do it just one more time.. so when they confirm they fix it here in this post I will try this again.
I actually use my nexus 10 heavily, from reading Magazines, watching Movies/Youtube etc so if I am 2-3 days with out it.. im hurting :)

I just want to thank you for saying "tested!!! It works!!!" I followed the same procedure:
* Install via Windows Nethunter Installer and complete installation to get to the point where it bootloops the Google logo.
* Download the kernel file package and decompress it.
* Open a cmd prompt in the kernel package folder
* Execute the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
* (optionally execute the command "fastboot flash recovery " then type open and <Tab Key>(to fill in the rest of the filename... should be something like openrecovery-twrp-x.x.x.img if I remember correctly I didn't know you could do this until recently and it definitely saves the headache of typing in full file names so I thought I'd share with others) and hit <Enter> ...this is just if you want to flash the included TWRP in the package.
After all of that voila!!! a Nexus 10 with lollipop and our beloved Nethunter. I'm so stoked about this guys!!!
I would perhaps suggest to the programmers maintaining the Nethunter Windows installer that it would integrate this kernel flash into the process so there is nothing to be done manually. Thank you so much for everyone getting clever on these forums. Without you I would not be so content as to have it all up and working perfectly on my Nexus 10. I am truly exhilerated and I had to come back to the forums to share the love!

Thanks to the generous contributions of the members of MartiniGM I used his "Option 2" above and was able to boot up my Nexus 10.

Now I'm having a problems with Kail Launcher.

I tap Nethunter Android App
'NetHunter Home' opens
I tap 'Launch Kali Menu in Terminal'
A terminal window opens and this:

/system/bin/bootkali[139]: syntax error: 'if' unmatched
1|u0_a83@manta:/ $

Thanks for any advice

Hey there guys! So after looking at the cheaper list of compatible cards for nethunter I decided to order both the TL-WN722N and the AWUS036H and a Yagi antenna. Anyhow, I have not been successful in getting either card to work properly. The TL-WN722N doesn't show up at all and the AWUS306H doesn't seem to want to go into monitor mode. Both work fine in my Kali installation on my pc. I did some searching and I am not sure, but am wondering if it has to do with the kernel that I had to flash separately in order to get the Nexus 10 not to bootloop after the initial install. As I recall it worked fine in KitKat Nethuner's installation (the TL-WN722N that is... I didn't have the AWUS036H at the time of my KitKat install). I should also note that I have done an apt-get update && upgrade and that hasn't fixed the issue eitther. Does anyone have any ideas? I wouldn't have posted this in this part of the forums if I didn't think it had to do with the flashing of the kernel for Lollipop on the Nexus 10. Thank you everyone. I am limited in my knowlege of rebuilding kernels and installing drivers in linux as well as how they do or don't relate to eachother. I love this community and I'm sure one of your brains will be just the thing I needed!
I have looked into this:
* https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?23541-KERNEL-KaliNethunterLollipopKernel
I am very unsure of how to recompile everything. Perhaps someone with the knowledge could recompile the kernel for the Nexus 10 Lollipop and post a TWRP flashable zip so that upon the initial install of Nethunter people could flash that kernel instead of the one that was linked here. Cheers!
