Annoying mouse flickering problem

I've been using Kali for a few months now and finally this is gotten on my nerves enough to post about it.

When you type, your mouse disappears... Fine.. I can live with that. But there are also certain things that if I mouse over... the mouse just disappears. For example the icons in the system settings. I cannot put my mouse over them without the mouse becoming invisible.

I'm running Kali on Parrallels , I believe the problem is still present in VMware too.

I tried updating "xserver-xorg-video-intel", they were latest versions. Running a macbook pro with intel iris.

i had this same problem but when i changed my cursor to one i found on www.gnome-look.org it quit happeneing. If that doesnt help you sould wait for one of the more expiernced users to reply

Alright, I was in the process of installing a new theme anyways... I'll give that a try. Thanks.

I've tried multiple mouse themes, doesn't work :(.


Anybody know how to fix or even what could be causing this?
