I have an HDD install of Kali 1.1.0a 64bit on an Asus g73sw-xt1 with a built-in sdcard reader. The reader works in openSuse 13.2 (and lower versions in the past). I can not get it to mount or recognize in Kali, however. I have opened gParted and it does not show up there or when I run blkid.

lsusb output is:

root@kali:~# lsusb

The sdcard is formatted vfat by the OEM (sandisk) and works as expected in other devices and computers.
I've searched the forum and Google to no avail.
Thanks for any help.
