What's the status of Kali on Nvidia Tegra K1 chips?

Read a few forum posts here that it doesn't run well, but they're a bit older. Plus I've seen on the Nvidia page, that they're pushing out drivers pretty frequently. Anyone running Kali on a Chromebook with Tegra K1 or on a Nvidia Shield Tablet and want to share some experiences?

I am wondering the same thing, I know the nexus 7 has kali but would be nice to have it on a faster k1 chip. Anyone already working on anything?
