I am trying to install Kali Linux on an Acer aspire one mini laptop via usb. It used to have win 7 on it but the hard drive was recently wiped with DBAN quick erase. I have burned an iso image onto a usb that I have used before on other computers for kali linux. After I turn on my laptop and boot to the usb I get the following mesage

SYSLINUX 4.04 EDD 2011-04-18 Copyright (C) 1994-2011 H. Peter Anvin et al

I have tried making the USB with both LiLi and unetbootin and I have confirmed that the usb is formatted in FAT32.

Any advice on how to get kali up and running on this machine?

Thanks

Format the USB; use win32disk imager. Both LiLi and unetbootin are currently not part of the methods in the documentation to get it working properly. If you are not in windows use dd instead.
