View Full Version : Kali Linux Broadcom BCM4360, Macbook Pro issue

Hello. Soo i have the BCM4360 chipset for my wireless network card, i use my iphone as ethernet cable to connect to the internet. But anyway after i installed broadcom driver and try command "modprobe wl" or "sudo modprobe wl" it says the module is not found, can anyone help me out?

It worked thanks :)
But i got another problem, when i try to get a handshake for WEP cracking on top right of the console after the date it says "Fixed Channel prism0: -1" Do anyone know how to fix it? i had to get the wl drive into monitor mode by using this command
"echo 1 >/proc/brcm_monitor0"

Add
--ignore-negative-one to your command(s).

Problem is if i use that i cant get the four way handshake. And i cant use wash with --ignore-fcs because nothing shows.
The command is apt-get install broadcom-sta-dkms

That first link no longer seems to work(?). Just re loads this page...
I'm having the exact same problem as diskutil. I know there are two variants of the BCM4360 chipset, one without broadcom support, one with. I have the latter.
