The title sums up my problem to the point. I added the system monitor extension to the top panel in GNOME and it caused my battery indicator to not show. I tried removing the extension and restarting but it's still not there. I tried adding the battery charge monitor extension as well. At first, it would show up but would tell me that the system is running on AC power and does not have a battery. Now it's just not showing up at all, as well. Here's some relevant information: I'm running 1.1.0a from the HDD of a MacBook Pro Retina Model A1398.
EDIT: Seems to be working again. Not sure what was going on. I didn't do anything else other than shut down for a little while. I'll just leave this up as a note of caution about adding the extension to your top panel.
