I am unable to install any packages. All the time I get the following errors

dpkg: error processing nfs-common (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
hostname
kbd
keyboard-configuration
console-setup-linux
console-setup
rpcbind
nfs-common
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

History : I was updating the system and while doing that I added KALI dev repository in the source list. During update, I started getting these errors.

What I tried :
1) I read few posts and I tried
a. apt-get autoremove --> no go same error
b. apt-get -f install --> no go same error
c. apt-get update --> no go same error
2) Removed everything from the repository and kept only kali linux and tried the step 1 --> no go

I am stuck in this process very badly and I am unable to install anything.

Please help me.
