O.K. I read the troubleshooting guide, and as a noob I either missed this problem or it wasn't listed. Mainly because my device is NOT detected (wireless card)
I am running Windows 8.1 and have Kali installed using vmware. I have it installed as a single file because no matter how many times I tried I could not get past the installation part. I kept getting
"An installation step failed. You can try running the failing item again from the menu or skip it and choose something else. The failing item is:install the system"
But at least it is up and running. I figured out how to install Tools which allowed me to copy and paste so I am editing this post.
My problem is I am connected to the internet somehow. If I use the browser I can surf the net on kali just fine. However no wireless devices are detected. I am NOT hardwired so it has to be connected by wifi or somehow thinking a connection to my WIN 8.1 connection is a hardwired connection ? Here as some results I have got ...

I tried attaching DMESG too but it made my post 90,000 characters so I couldn't post it ..
I am trying to run Reaver so I need my wifi card to show up on Eth0 ... I can't for the life of me figure this out. Any help would be appreciated. I have been Googling for HOURS now. Spent about 5 hours so far this morning on it.
