View Full Version : Problem booting after install Kali 2.0

So I just installed Kali Linux 2.0 on my Lenovo tho pad x131e and when I boot it up after it goes through all the different setups getting Kali ready it just goes to a black screen and like a little white cursor up in the left top corner I've tried typing my password and it won't do anything.
I've exactly the same problem!!
You get about 15-20sec of black screen and white cursor in left hand top corner, and then the LOGIN prompt kicks in.
If install was a success.
Found that using the mirror to complete install was the way to go, than the other option to not use.
When i didn't use the mirror upgrade option,i got a GRUBless install =/ lol
