Kali 2.0 Restart and Shutdown Hangs

Hi
Just did fresh install of Kali on my efi laptop.
Lost Windows in grub due to different hard drive but thats not main issue,
My current issue is, when you do a restart or shutdown in Kali it just freezes. Mouse and keyboard dont work and it wont shutdown or reboot,
Anyone else had this issue?

MSI GT60 laptop & I have the exact same issue with it freezing as soon as I tell it to reboot via CLI or GUI.
