Bugs of Kali Linux 2.0 so far..
These are all the bugs I have came accross just from commonly using this operating system.

Hopefully I could aid the devs by providing some details of bugs. Please feel free to ask questions and feel free to post bugs you have come in contact with.

Can't use any other browser besides IceWeasel (default)
Tested this bug on a couple of browsers including
Opera
Google Chrome
Chromium

When running from a command line it just does nothing.
When running from an icon it shows it in the opened applications dock / tab and then closes for all of these browsers.

Can't Enable Universal Dark theme on gnome
Global Dark Theme in "Tweak Tool".

System Freezes

System freezes except for the mouse for 15 - 20 seconds at a time.
Clean reinstalls dont help.

Can't run proxychains and other various Kali Linux tools due to this error.

Internet in browsers are spotty (probably having something to do with the other browser issue)
Internet stops working randomly on a certain set of tabs and sometimes completly only in the browser I am in.



Mac Mini Firmware issue

This is the firmware issue I have every time I install Kali Linux 2.0 on my mac mini.

When activating "Switch between overview and desktop" the system becomes laggy.

When using the command "service xxx start" (example service tor start, etc) doesnt say state if this action was successful, failed in general, or even if the proccess is already running

Havnt had time to mess with any of the main tools, trying to make the system stable first so I am not sure what else is working and not working.

I havent been able to get Armtiage to work, has anyone else seen these issues? I'm tried apt-get update && apt-get upgrade with no luck

Are you using it in a VM? If so, whats the host & guest system specs?
What happens if you switch to XFCE?
I wonder if tracker-store is to blame.
Have top/htop open and see if you can spot whats going on.

This is systemd, which is included in Debian 8.
By default, it now writes to log files, rather than the screen.
I haven't had the time myself to figure out how to alter this - but a quick search says it is possible. Example: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/20399/view-stdout-stderr-of-systemd-service (even if its per service not global).

I am not on a Virtual machine, I am actually on a Mac Mini mid 2011
Ill have to install the XFCE enviorment and check back with you.

Also the Internet issues is really affecting my browser still, even when my browser fails to load the Internet doesn't stop in my games. I don't understand this and I still can not use any other browsers.

I am experiencing problems with the lock screen. It locks as expected but the top menu bar keeps being visible and (a bit more alarming) is possible to access. So, even if the screen has been locked, it is still possible to start applications via the Applications drop down menu at the top of the screen. I'm running on "iron", no VM. Other menu items in the top menu bar are also accessible. Switching between desktops in the top menu bar also makes the left dock appear and allows execution of applications in the dock. It would be a nice feature if the PC actually is locked when it's locked... ;-)

Hi all, I just want to say that proxychain 3.1 is already not supported as reported in a post on the github project pages

Anyone as already tried with a newer version? I'm upgrading all the system and I'll try as soon as I can. I hope these informations are usefull.

EDIT:
Even with version 4.10 it gives the same error. But it seems to work. I'm looking for a good list of proxies to test but I'm still searching.
