I have laptop Lenovo y50 series having graphics nvidia graphics driver "Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M" of 4GB graphics memory. I followed the instructions given in the official Kali website.http://docs.kali.org/general-use/install-nvidia-drivers-on-kali-linux to install the nvidia drivers. But when i installed it and rebooted the system, I get a Blinking Cursor with Black Screen.. So I also followed this (http://www.blackmoreops.com/2014/03/13/install-proprietary-nvidia-driver-kali-linux/)tutorial which too did not help. Is there any solution for graphics driver?

I am having the exact same issue. I am running Kali 2.0 on an Asus G75vw with an Intel core i7-3630QM running at 2.4GHz x8, 16GB ram, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 670m. I too followed the tutorial and encountered the blinking cursor of doom and gloom. I was able to revert back to the nouveau driver using my Live USB. I've tried a couple other tutorials, but have had no success. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
