Kali Linux Menu Disappeared!

Hi,

Recently I had just installed Kali Linux on my machine. After some time I started to play around. I installed google-chrome debian package and played arround with Wiffy (https://code.google.com/p/g0tmi1k/source/browse/trunk/wiffy/wiffy.sh?r=33).

After some time later I noticed that the kali Linux menu under applications had disappeared. I am not exactly sure of what have might caused the disappearance. Can someone please help me on how to get it back?

I also encountered the same problem today,and i find that the command “apt-get upgrade” can solve this problem，but it will take you about half an hour to upgrade your Kali System. you can try this command.
