How To Customize Raspberry Pi 2 Distro To Support a 3.5 LCD Display

I purchases a Raspberry Pi and a 3.5" LCD Touch Screen Display and I'm running the Pi with the Kali Pi Distro but my display won't work with the Kali Pi Distro.
Can anyone tell how to go about customizing the Raspberry Pi Distro to support a 3.5 LCD Touch Screen Display? Or, if it's even possible?
