Which branch for new installer?

I want to build the new installer for Kali (2.1 I think) but there are two branches in the github.

One is newinstaller-fj and the other is newinstaller, both branches seem active.

Which branch should I use to build?
What's the difference between newinstaller and newinstaller-fj?
