Hey guys,
so I've been struggling with this for the last couple of days and do not know what to do.
I've tried other Linux images, somewhat successful but I really want my USB device to work on Kali Linux 2.0
Things I have done.
1)Updated sources.list
2)Installed headers
3)Successfully 'Make' and 'Make Install' on this driver - https://github.com/csssuf/rtl8812au
but still get "The connection for the USB device 'Edimax 802.11n NIC' was unsuccessful. Driver error"
The device does show on lsusb but not ifconfig.
I am running Kali Linux 2.0 installed on VMware Workstation 12 Player.
Let me know if you need anything.
Hope someone can help.
