Hi all,
I am trying to install Chromium but i cant find the package in Add and Remove programs or via apt-get.My sources list is as per another thread here so what am i doing wrong. Also is there anyway i can edit the top taskbar,i cant remove Iceweasel or the Computer icon from it. Is there anyway of customising it yet .. Thanks..
Ok we have success, done a bit of googling and found some info on editing the etc/resolv.conf file. Changed the nameserver from my routers default address to googles 8.8.8.8,ran commands and hey presto we have lift off.. Thanks for everything..

Hi Sw1p3r! You can install chrome directly from https://www.google.com/intl/es/chrome/browser/ getting .deb package.
Default installation directory is : /opt/google/chrome
To launch it add --user-data-dir=<path> PATH = any directory to save conf (Chrome does not can be launched has root)
To remove icons on the taskbar use SUPER+ALT+RIGHT CLICK and you will see the remove option.
