I'm trying to create a live usable USB following the instructions HERE (http://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-install). I used universal USB (Win32 disk imager wouldn't work for me). When I boot from the USB then click "Live" I get the this screen (see attachment).

Looks like a few things failing and I couldn't find anything online that helped.

Does this actually stop the machine from booting?

Yes, this prevents the machine from booting. I tried creating a new image on the USB to redo it and now it stops at a different screen (attached) and doesn't proceed any further. This happens with any option (Live AMD, Live AMD Failsafe, Live forensic, Live USB etc.) Before it reaches this screen there is some flickering with what looks like the Kali Linux header and blue color so it's giving me the impression its graphics card related...but I could be wrong. I'm using an Nvideo GT970M if that makes any difference.

Thanks
