Hello everyone,

Just installed Kali ond my Lenovo U31 and have problems setting up the Wifi card. After some research I found out that I have somekind of Atheros Wlan adapter and the driver for it should be this one https://github.com/atondwal/ath10k-firmware.git

I tried out different ways to install these drivers, but I still can't seem to get it to work. I'm completely new to Kali, but I have some experience as a hobbyist in other distros and the ways I used to set up Wifi in those distros all don't seem to work.

Would be really gratefull if someone could walk me through this. Can't find any clear documentation or tutorial as of how to do this here.

Greetings,
Strangelove

Ok, this seems to be a bug with this adapter:

I'll probably need to buy a USB Wlan adapter in the meantime. Any good USB Wlan adapter that is perfectly compatible to Kali?

Definitely check out the sticky for recommended wireless cards in the troubleshooting forums.

I personally like the Alfa AWUS036H or the newer Alfa AWUS036NEH. I have both, and they work fine in the latest Kali version.
