Hi guys,

I am still a beginner so I would appreciate your patience.

I recently bought a lenovo E560 and tried to install Kali sana 2.0 64 bit.
on it (previously running the older Kali on a mac book pro). I am running windows 10 and trying to dual boot Kali with it.

However, i am having all sorts of issues, firstly grub wouldn't work, though was installed properly. i.e., the computer loads directly into windows.

I did a bit of research and came across this method that installs grub using an Ubuntu rescue disk (after installing Kali). this actually worked, as in grub now works and I have the option to either load into windows or load into Kali, but Kali doesnt load properly, the screen freezes at the below line of code:

"[ok] Started update YTMP System Runlevel Changes."

any clue why? any help is really appreciated.

Hardware: intel i7 dual coe, 8.0g RAM
Cheers

Am also having the same issue. Tried to dual boot but the windows 10 boot manager won't show linux to choose. Currently uninstalled windows 10 for my new kali linux. If any know how to dual boot with windows 10, please share.
