Kali Linux Image for Raspberry Pi 2 not working

Hello all,

I recently received my raspberry pi 2 and successfully downloaded raspbian onto a micro sd card. I followed this same process with the kali linux image and unfortunately it has not worked. I format and write the image but I receive a black screen when I attempt to start the rpi. I am running Windows 8 and win32. Is there a software issue with the newest models of rpi 2? If so could someone point me to a working image?

did you check SHA1Sum of downloaded image before everything?
