View Full Version : CM13, Hammerhead, Nethunter 3.0 kernel black screen
Nethunter (site download) gives black screen with latest CM13, only Top and Navigation bars are visible - can do nothing, but reboot.
After flashing any CM13 kernel everything works fine (ROM itself, Nethunter services) but no external wifi adapter, of course.
Anyone using this setup? need an advice.

The CM version of Nethunter works correctly only on One Plus One devices I think. Did you tried official Nexus 5 Android ROM and flash Nethunter for Hammerhead on that ?
thanks, can we change defconfig for cm13 kernel same way people porting it to other devices?

Update: builds for hammerheadcm now available @ https://idlekernel.com/nethunter/nightly/
Be sure to wipe /system, /cache, & dalvik, then reflash CyanogenMod 13.0 nightly & gapps before flashing. Don't flash SuperSU.
If you data partition already has an old nethunter install on it, you may need to wipe that as well.
Please report to me if it works.
can someone with same setup test external wifi with this build [deleted]
NH 3.0.1 made with jcadduono's GIT and instructions,
based on elementalx 6.08 by flar2 + DT2wake. working with CM13 latest builds.

fixed it, external wifi works with this one kernel ONLY Nethunter Hammerhead CM13 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/a57rcurzzgxtom8/kernel-nethunter-hammerheadx-marshmallow-1412016_92426.zip?dl=0)
